Reducing Drop-Off During Compliance with a Automated Approval Process
PROBLEM:
There was a problem of FX liquidity and inability to use some of our cards on 18yers+ platforms such as casinos at CashEx
SOLUTION:
As a remittance (CashEX) they were disparities in FX rates which caused a lot of ambiguity to users as we were offering different rates within a day which is meant to be a fixed rate for the day.
Proposed an integration with an international FX partners which includes the business margin spread that when a user needs a particular currencies and the user has been deposited money for the exchange, it calls our partner APIs from our platform. Also created a status page for those APIs so we can be informed when there is a outage and inform our users.
This improved user experience and stability in the business
Accelerating GTM and lowering development costs with JTBD
I have conducted a series of JTBD interviews with existing customer, potential prospects and lost sales opportunities. my super skill is to uncover those unmet needs from freshly identified customer segments. this helped GTM teams focus on few segments and communicate value proposition that resonated (sales funnel conversions improved by 50%), and also engineering team had better justified priorities.
in the end - onboarding speeded up 12x times (from 12 weeks to 1 week), net retention improved by 30%, sales pipelined almost doubled
Enhancing The Shop Experience at a B2B marketplace
To improve the shopping experience, I analyzed key data such as popular items, user search preferences, pricing updates, and stock levels. With the engineering team, we introduced filtering criteria for different device categories on the shop page. I also tested multiple formats for showcasing device pricing and availability, including a real-time product pricing list view extension.
To provide users with more comprehensive product information, the product detail screen was enhanced. Users can adjust product category parameters and view recent sale prices to make informed decisions. The product information display was improved with a simple open and close functionality, more product images, and accessible payment channels through Eze.
LLM-Powered Robot
In this project, I focused on implementing small open-source models, such as Zephir-7b, on single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi. This setup enabled the creation of a robot controlled by an LLM. Working with such compact models presents numerous challenges; one significant issue is the reduced level of intelligence compared to larger models like GPT-4. To address this, the project required fine-tuning the open-source LLM to achieve satisfactory results.
From idea to functional business processes
Built process of products development from scratch (starting from idea evaluation to business processes
Created pipeline control process
Built team rituals and motivation model
Defined and negotiated segregation of duties
Implemented project management model: reporting, agile principles, quality gates, costs planning and control, etc.
Applying ML to facial pore recognition for a beauty application.
As a computer vision expert, I was consulted to address the challenge of facial pore recognition for a beauty application. The problem involved accurately identifying and measuring individual pores on various skin types and tones. To tackle this, I designed an algorithm that could adaptively capture high-resolution images and extract relevant features. Leveraging machine learning, I trained a model on a comprehensive dataset that I helped gather, comprising different face images under various lighting conditions. The resulting algorithm could recognize and measure individual pores with high precision, providing personalized skincare recommendations to users, and thereby enhancing the app's user experience.
Product-driven approach to marketing
I have worked in business communications, starting from ideation of messages that businesses want to convey, all the way to delivering a final product in the form of a video. I managed creative teams and tackled issues related to creativity, design, visual representation of ideas, and ensuring high-quality visual packaging of products.
Built a Cost-Saving Calculator to drive Program Adoption.
We developed and scaled a feature for 3P marketplace sellers to facilitate the adoption of the Pan-European FBA, an EU-wide fulfillment program. The feature is a cost-saving calculator that identifies potential savings for sellers by enabling product listings across the EU, thereby incurring lower fees. This was a problem, as sellers had to align 4 different datasets previously, to get this information before deciding whether to join the program. We utilized a build approach, we started from scratch and led the entire process from inception to the development of the MVP and eventually productionalizing the feature for over 150,000 sellers. This unlocked large holdout brands, such as Instant Pot, and generated $100 million in revenue within a year of the MVP.
Lack of seller trust addressed by UX research and backend development at Walmart
Previously, I advised Fortune 500 companies on making data informed decisions by providing location intelligence tailored to their customers’ needs. Recommended pricing tiers appropriate for target markets.
Before that, I worked as Head of Product at the leading Ukrainian chemicals manufacturer with $50MM annual revenue. I managed and implemented technology stack for Sales & Marketing to distribute >1000 daily leads, qualify >500 weekly inbound calls, and facilitate $12.4MM in quarterly billing resulting in increased efficiency of ~150 field sales representatives.
Prior to Ukravit, I led engagements as Product Strategy Manager at DuPont. I worked cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Product, Marketing and Sales to design and segment new revenue generating model, overhaul pricing, and revamp reporting as number of customers increased to >10K.
As a side project I founded a virtual startup – a FinTech platform to tap into $20BN developing Ag market. Hired and led 7 professionals to build MVP and retain subscription.
Improving Navigation for a B2B marketplace
Helped develop a new navigation system for Eze to improve the customer journey, especially for mobile users who were a significant part of our traffic. We prioritized the search function for available devices in the new navigation system as we recognized its importance to visitors. In order to accommodate supplementary menu items, I incorporated a secondary navigation bar into the desktop interface.
